As Controller, you will oversee all accounting and financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency across the organization. You will serve as a strategic partner to the CFO and executive leadership, providing financial insights that inform key decisions and long-term planning.

Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership & Strategy
- Lead the preparation and delivery of accurate, timely financial statements and reports
- Partner with executive leadership on financial planning, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Establish financial benchmarks, KPIs, and reporting standards
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (or IFRS, as applicable), regulatory requirements, and internal policies
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard organizational assets
- Oversee cash flow management, including AR, AP, and treasury functions
- Manage and coordinate external audits
- Evaluate and enhance accounting systems, policies, and workflows
- Drive operational efficiencies and continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 4–6 finance professionals
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and growth-oriented team culture
- Conduct performance evaluations and support career development planning
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification required
- Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting or finance experience
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Healthcare or clinic experience strongly preferred
- Deep knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls
- Strong understanding of banking operations and financial analysis
- Experience with payroll management and accounting process optimization
- Proven ability to manage complex financial projects and priorities
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Primarily office-based, sedentary role
- Extended periods of computer and desk work
- Occasional light lifting (up to 10 pounds)
