Hoskinson Health & Wellness Clinic is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Environmental Services Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff across both Hoskinson Health & Wellness Clinic and Hoskinson Contracting facilities.
This role is essential to supporting patient care operations and creating a welcoming environment throughout the organization. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards, works well independently and with a team, and understands the importance of safety, professionalism, and attention to detail in a healthcare setting.

About The Role
Hoskinson Health & Wellness Clinic is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Environmental Services Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff across both Hoskinson Health & Wellness Clinic and Hoskinson Contracting facilities.
This role is essential to supporting patient care operations and creating a welcoming environment throughout the organization. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards, works well independently and with a team, and understands the importance of safety, professionalism, and attention to detail in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Clean and sanitize patient care areas, exam and procedure rooms, laboratory and radiology spaces, restrooms, common areas, offices, and high-touch surfaces
- Empty trash and biohazard receptacles and replace liners according to established procedures
- Safely handle and dispose of waste materials in compliance with healthcare and environmental regulations
- Replenish restroom and janitorial supplies including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and vacuums
- Perform floor maintenance using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
- Follow OSHA and organizational safety standards, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Identify and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or unusual incidents to supervisors promptly
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities as required
- Assist with specialized cleaning procedures, including deep cleaning and biohazard response when necessary
- Respond professionally and courteously to staff, patients, and visitors regarding immediate cleaning concerns
- Collaborate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure facilities remain clean and operational
- Adhere to all department and organizational policies and procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or environmental services experience preferred
- Healthcare cleaning experience preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, equipment, and safe handling procedures
- Ability to follow sanitation and infection-control standards
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage assigned tasks
- Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Awareness of workplace safety procedures and environmental regulations
- Dependable work ethic and professional demeanor
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities sufficient to perform essential job functions
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, reaching, and repetitive movement throughout shifts
- Ability to lift and move cleaning equipment and supplies as needed
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and healthcare environments
- Use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols required
- Ability to work designated schedules and support operational needs
