We are looking for an experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to join our team.
About the job:
- Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment
- Order diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests, and interpret test results for deviation from normal
- Perform therapeutic procedures, Primary care, and Urgent care
- Notate findings and treatment course in patient chart including follow-up notes
- Instruct and counsel patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens. Communicate with patients regarding testing results, follow-up care, and additional information
- Nurse Practitioner will continue to accept patients until posted closing time
- Work as part of the overall team by answering the phone, completing referrals, patient callbacks and other activities as requested
- Abides by company policies and procedures.
Required education:
BSN, MSN preferred. Employee must have successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner program.
LICENSES
Nurse Practitioner licensed in the state of Kentucky. Certification by national certifying organization.
