Position Overview
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant works under the direction of the Director of Rehabilitation and the supervising Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality occupational therapy services in accordance with state practice guidelines.

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant works under the direction of the Director of Rehabilitation and the supervising Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality occupational therapy services in accordance with state practice guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Implement treatment plans as outlined by the supervising therapist and physician orders
- Monitor resident response to treatment and report progress or concerns to the therapy team
- Complete daily treatment notes and all required documentation in compliance with state regulations
- Participate in the development and implementation of resident care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal resident outcomes and quality of life
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing (required)
- Work with both long-term care and short-term rehabilitation residents
- Supportive leadership and interdisciplinary teamwork
