The Hair Stylist is responsible for delivering professional salon services to guests and members while maintaining service quality and operational standards in a resort spa environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and texturizing
- Consult with clients to assess needs and recommend services and products
- Promote retail products and home-care solutions
- Maintain sanitation standards for workstations, tools, and equipment
- Prepare and restock supplies to support daily operations
- Address guest questions and service concerns in a timely, professional manner
- Participate in training, team meetings, and cross-functional support as needed
- Monitor product usage and contribute to retail and service revenue goals
- Minimum 2 years of professional hair styling experience
- Current state cosmetology license required
- Strong technical skills in cutting, coloring, and treatments
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Organized and able to work independently
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Completion of a cosmetology program (technical/vocational training)
- Basic computer skills for scheduling and transactions
