What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Operator II C & D position at Horry County Solid Waste Authority?
General Requirements
Under general supervision, is responsible for performing general duties for the Collection and Hauling Division pertaining to Solid Waste and Recycling equipment and vehicles to include assisting with maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities, and operating equipment. Reports to the Deputy Director Recycling and Operations.
Minimum Educational Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent with six months to one year experience in the operation and minor maintenance of heavy equipment or any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Valid South Carolina Drivers License and must possess a Commercial Drivers license - Class B or Class A.
Pay: $19.18 - $20.33 per hour
