What are the core responsibilities for the role?
- Work as part of the bridges team under the direction of Senior Bridge Engineers to perform design for transportation projects
- You will assist with a range of project assignments
- Your work will include data collection and analysis, design, calculations, and plan development
- Develop skills in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and other CAD design software
- Learn the standards and tools of the trade so you can apply this knowledge to produce quality deliverables
- Coordinate your work & school schedule with team members
- Be a Junior or Senior working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
- Have the intent to take and pass the Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) exam
- Be motivated to work hard in order to learn and acquire new skills
- Have good written and verbal communication skills
- Possess the ability to use word processing, spreadsheet, and collaboration applications
- Be organized and have the ability to work with different staff members
- Apply good time management skills
