This high-impact role carries full P&L responsibility and offers influence over capital allocation, pricing strategy, government
contracts, and value creation initiatives. You will lead financial strategy, professionalize systems, and provide actionable insights
to drive operational efficiency, supporting the division’s growth and positioning it for an eventual transaction.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Act as strategic and financial partner to the Divisional President, driving growth
initiatives, commercial decisions, and transaction readiness. - Lead FP&A and divisional finance operations, managing a small team including
an FP&A Manager and two direct reports. - Translate operational data into actionable financial insights; design dashboards
and KPI reporting to enhance decision-making. - Oversee financial management of a diversified concession and ferry portfolio,
including National Parks, Niagara Falls Ferry, Alcatraz, Boston Metro Ferry,
Puerto Rico, and ancillary services. - Collaborate with Group CFO and SVP on capital allocation, pricing, contract
strategy, and divestiture planning. - Provide board-level reporting with clarity and polish, communicating both
macroeconomic context and operational performance. - Partner with divisional accounting to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant
financial reporting. - Drive strategic planning, forecasting, and scenario modelling to support PE
portfolio objectives. - Lead budgeting, cost management, and margin optimization initiatives across
the division. - Identify, evaluate, and execute operational and financial improvement
opportunities to enhance EBITDA and cash flow. - Oversee transaction support, including due diligence, carve-out preparation, and
integration planning for acquisitions or divestitures. - Monitor and manage working capital, cash flow, and capital expenditures to
maximize efficiency and returns. - Implement and maintain internal controls and financial policies aligned with PE
governance standards. - Partner with PE sponsors to develop KPIs and reporting frameworks that track
operational and financial performance. - Support M&A and capital raise activities, including investor presentations and
board reporting. - Drive change management initiatives across finance, operations, and
commercial teams to standardize processes and improve scalability. - Lead and mentor finance team members, developing talent to operate at PE
speed and scale.
