What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd shift - RTD Pasteurizer Operator position at Hormel Foods Family of Companies?
QUALIFICATIONS
Mechanical aptitude.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Basic mechanical skills.
Basic computer skills.
Able to understand flow diagrams and follow product flow.
Able to understand thermo process and how it reacts to different products.
Understand the regulatory standards of pasteurization.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
To perform the necessary duties and operate the equipment as required in a safe, sanitary, and productive manner to produce a quality product.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Troubleshoot problem areas and quickly adjust equipment when necessary.
2. Log machine downtime and assist in line changeovers.
3. Observe product and process for areas of concern and notify appropriate personnel.
4. Follow Century Foods International policies, safety rules, Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and ISO9001 procedures.
5. Comply with all Century Foods and customer operating procedures..
6. Maintain positive attitude and working relationship with supervisor and co-workers.
Assist in all other duties assigned by supervisor and/or management.
Normal shift hours - 1:25 pm - 9:30 pm Monday - Friday - OT as needed
Pay Rate - P4 plus $1.00 shift differential
Starting Rate - $23.30
