Responsibilities
- Enhance and maintain internal financial reporting database applications for life insurance.
- Implement and improve processes for new and existing products, ensuring successful data warehouse operations.
- Automate reporting requirements and create control processes for efficient data management.
- Collaborate with business, finance, and technology teams to translate complex requirements into programming solutions.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for Oracle database applications.
- Proficiency in Oracle (11g/19c) including SQL, PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, and SQL*Loader.
- Experience with Linux OS, including shell scripting.
- Strong skills in TOAD for database management.
- Advanced Excel capabilities, including VLookup and macros.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude.
- Familiarity with scheduling tools like ESP/Stonebranch UAC.
- Knowledge of MS-Access and Python.
- Understanding of life insurance products and business processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with a sense of urgency and adaptability.
