Responsibilities
- Lead the deployment and integration of the Transportation Management System, ensuring seamless implementation from design to go-live.
- Manage application support for transportation solutions, including incident management and process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to optimize system performance and enhancements.
- Drive communication and updates regarding incidents and system status with IT and Supply Chain leadership.
- Oversee onshore and offshore teams, ensuring effective application support and continuous improvement.
- Develop strategies to scale operations during peak seasons and integrate industry best practices.
- Proven technical leadership in supply chain technology, specifically with Transportation Management Systems.
- Experience in managing full lifecycle projects, from requirements gathering through to ongoing enhancements.
- Strong understanding of TMS integration with enterprise systems like WMS, ERP, and freight payment tools.
- Excellent SQL development abilities for complex queries.
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging with stakeholders and managing teams across geographies.
- Experience in logistics technology organizations or consulting roles.
- Background in IT management roles with a focus on supply chain applications.
- Proficiency in implementing and supporting various TMS platforms such as E2open, Oracle, or Manhattan.
- Ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
