Finance Data Analyst

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Finance Data Analyst to join our dynamic IT Business Management team. This remote role is perfect for someone who thrives on transforming financial data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Analyze extensive financial data to uncover trends and insights that drive business decisions.
• Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs using data visualization tools.
• Assist FP&A and accounting teams with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Communicate complex data in simple terms to stakeholders through reports and presentations.
• Track financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes through data validation and reconciliation.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend system enhancements.
  
  
  

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis or data analytics.
• Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions like pivot tables and macros.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to present data clearly and concisely.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or business intelligence.
• Familiarity with ERP and financial systems like SAP.
