Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust cloud-based technology solutions, focusing on AWS.
- Administer and optimize the AWS cloud environment, ensuring peak performance and security.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate software enhancements and manage code migrations.
- Develop detailed technical documentation and provide operational guidelines to ensure applications run smoothly.
- Lead complex projects, coordinating with local and system staff to achieve project goals.
- Monitor compliance with audit requirements and security guidelines.
- Strong expertise in AWS and Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
- Proficient in Docker and containerized solutions.
- Experience with coding languages such as Python, Go, and NodeJS/Typescript.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to create and understand complex technical documentation.
- Proficiency in Observability tools like Grafana, CloudWatch, and OpenSearch.
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry tools and frameworks like Prometheus and Jaeger.
- Experience in data engineering and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of Apache Spark and data pipeline management.
- Understanding of serverless computing and REST APIs.
