Apparel Designer--Smartwool

Join our dynamic team as a Cut & Sew Apparel Designer, where you'll have the opportunity to bring innovative outdoor apparel designs to life. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and creativity of product lines throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design, development, and merchandising teams to ensure product line accuracy.
• Refine design sketches based on feedback and development changes.
• Create detailed design handoffs outlining trims, construction, and fit for new styles.
• Participate in fit sessions and provide input on design adjustments.
• Maintain organized documentation and design decks for clear team communication.
  
  
  

Skills

• Proven experience in apparel design with a strong creative portfolio.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with PLM systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills for giving and receiving constructive feedback.
  
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Figma and 3D software (CLO) is a plus.
• Background in accessory design is beneficial but not mandatory.
• A BA or BS degree in Design or a related field is preferred.
