Analyst, Cyber & Information Security Risk

Join us as an Analyst in Cyber & Information Security Risk for a 12-month contract at our Denver location. This role is instrumental in shaping and maintaining cybersecurity strategies to safeguard information systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with tech teams to pinpoint cybersecurity risks in current and upcoming projects
• Conduct assessments of third-party security measures, ensuring they meet or exceed pre-defined standards
• Create risk profiles for vendor and business services using industry best practices
• Advise on and communicate strategies to mitigate cybersecurity risks effectively
• Guide project stakeholders on compliance with regulatory requirements
• Maintain thorough documentation and communication within the risk management platform
• Report engagement statuses to security management and other stakeholders
• Assist in enforcing security policies and procedures; evaluate exceptions requests
• Research and advocate for new technologies to support enterprise security requirements
  
  
  

Skills

• Over 3 years’ experience in cybersecurity risk management or IT security
• In-depth understanding of industry frameworks and regulatory standards such as ISO and NIST
• Strong ability to balance business needs with cybersecurity best practices
• Skilled in influencing outcomes through negotiation and persuasion
• Excellent communication skills across diverse roles and levels of professionalism
• Proactive approach and ability to work independently on assignments
  
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or a related field
• Certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CISA highly desirable
• Knowledge of auditing methodologies and privacy laws beneficial
