HPCP Weekend Warrior- The Weekend Warrior position will work Friday, Saturday and Sunday .
The Homemaker/Personal Care Professional Weekend Warrior will empower adults with developmental disabilities while supporting them daily. One must have the ability to work as a team player. Be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions; handle sensitive face-to-face contacts, maintain a friendly atmosphere and be willing to have fun! Must have a valid driver's license. Will be required to transport individuals for activities, doctor's appointments, etc. Must have adequate transportation to complete job responsibilities. Training provided.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred for position in order to have Medication Administration. Must have evidence of the ability to work constructively with developmentally disabled individuals. Previous direct care, nursing and / or developmental disabilities experience preferred. Must demonstrate basic respect and good will toward individuals and co-workers. Must possess good general health and be able to lift or help loft adults. Must have a valid driver's license. May be required to transport individuals for activities doctor's appointments, etc., in a 12 passenger van with a wheelchair lift.
