DSP full time- all shifts in Coshocton County

Overview

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our team on a full-time basis across all shifts in Coshocton County. This vital role involves providing high-quality care and support to individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, and those requiring memory care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents through personalized assistance, safety, and respectful engagement. Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability.
• Support residents with medication administration following prescribed protocols and safety guidelines.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and maintaining proper nutrition standards for residents.
• Engage residents in social activities and community outings to promote well-being and social interaction.
• Follow safe patient lifting practices and manual handling procedures to prevent injury for both staff and residents.

Skills

• Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges is advantageous.
