Job description
Our team is growing, and we are currently seeking a Licensed Pharmacy Technician II to join our team. Working closely with pharmacists, our technicians are the key to our unique team-based approach simplifying medicine management through trusted, quality relationships with our patients and caregivers throughout the Rhode Island community. We create and nurture trusted relationships that consistently reduce the day-to-day burden for nurses and providers working in long term care facilities.
A successful Technician is a motivated and enthusiastic team player, with a Pharmacy Technician II License and a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a busy pharmacy. Bilingual candidates are a plus.

Pharmacy Technician Key Responsibilities Include:
- Perform computer entry of prescription information including but not limited to: patient search, prescriber search, drug selection, prescription interpretation & entry, insurance billing, problem resolution
- Work with nursing and prescriber staff at the assigned facilities to ensure patients receive the best care possible
- Manage the assigned client team
- Lead assigned tasks from start to finish
- Work in a cycle fill format
Pharmacy Technician Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 18 years old and High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to preserve confidentiality of patient information
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks/projects and work within strict time frames and resolute deadlines
- A customer service orientation, with professional communication skills
This is a full-time job with various hours/shifts available (40 hours per week), during our operating hours:
Monday -Thursday : 7:30 am – 8 pm
Friday 730-5 pm
Saturday: 9 am – 1 pm
We are closed on Sundays and most State/Federal holidays.
