- Manage medication inventories, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and documentation in compliance with safety standards.
- Assist with patient intake processes by verifying prescriptions, reviewing medical terminology, and ensuring clarity of medication orders.
- Support critical care and hospital teams by providing timely medication administration assistance and maintaining precise records.
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment using aseptic techniques during medication preparation to prevent contamination.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient service and effective medication management across various departments.
- Monitor stock levels, reorder supplies as needed, and document all transactions meticulously for regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Proven pharmacy technician experience with a strong understanding of medical terminology and medication management procedures.
