Qualified candidates for this position must possess the skills to design and detail project drawings, as well as handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop control systems for automated processes and machinery
- Create detailed engineering specifications and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and maintenance
- Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve system malfunctions
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Manage control system projects from conception through completion
- Other duties may be assigned
- Experience with industry-specific control systems and software
- Understanding of electrical schematics and control panel designs
- Proficiency in PLC programming and HMI/SCADA configuration
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical software for system design and layout
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and standard industry practices
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in controls engineering
- Strong knowledge of automation and control systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Willingness to travel and work on-site as needed
- Engineering or Technical degree a plus, but not required
