Director of Sales

A well-established hospitality management company is seeking a Director of Sales for their extended stay property in Columbus, OH.

This role offers the opportunity to lead sales strategy for a select-service hotel with a strong group and corporate business mix. Compensation: $80,000 - $85,000 20% bonus, full benefits package, and comprehensive professional development

Director of Sales Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to drive social, group, and corporate market business
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
• Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve revenue goals through strong ADR and occupancy strategies
• Actively pursue new business through networking, cold calling, warm leads, and sales blitzes
• Monitor market trends and maintain competitive industry knowledge
• Lead and mentor sales team members
• Utilize and maintain proficiency in sales software and reporting systems
• Deliver outstanding customer service and professionalism

Director of Sales Qualifications:

• 2 years of hotel sales experience required
• Proven "hunter" mentality with strong business development focus
• Creative and innovative thinker who can approach sales differently
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
• Hospitality sales background with a track record of success
• Extended stay or select-service hotel experience preferred
• Columbus market knowledge a plus
