Caregiver (CFC) – Job Duties & Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high level of professionalism while providing care in the client’s home.
- Adhere to infection control protocols, including wearing scrubs, gloves, and masks as required.
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and bedtime preparation.
- Prepare nutritious meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) according to the client’s needs and care plan.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as washing dishes, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Assist clients with scheduling and preparing for medical appointments and accompany them when required.
- Support clients with errands including grocery shopping, laundry, and physical therapy visits.
- Maintain accurate documentation, complete activity sheets, and submit reports to the agency in a timely manner.
- Follow the client’s approved schedule of care and remain consistent and dependable.
- Ensure client safety and well-being at all times.
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation to and from client residences.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Social Security documentation.
- Completed background check.
- Completion of required application documents (pages 1, 2, and 4).
- Ability to begin employment immediately upon clearance.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
