Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Home Health Aide based in VA. The Home Health Aide will assist patients with daily activities of living, provide personal care, and ensure patient well-being. Responsibilities include supporting clients with meal preparation, hygiene tasks, mobility assistance, and providing companionship. The Home Health Aide will also communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the healthcare team to maintain a high standard of care.
Qualifications
- Experience in Home Care and assisting with Activities of Daily Living (e.g., bathing, feeding, grooming, and mobility support)
- Strong Communication skills for effectively interacting with clients, families, and team members
- Proficient in providing Patient Care and Personal Care with empathy and attention to individual needs
- Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to dynamic care needs
- Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous experience in healthcare or home care settings is a plus
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
