What are the responsibilities and job description for the Real Estate Lending Professional position at Horizon Federal Credit Union?
Creates an exceptional member experience throughout the entire real estate and mortgage process. This individual reviews all supporting loan documents and interprets and processes conditions set by investors to close and fund the loan on time.
Working with the Mortgage Department, they prepare and issue conditional loan approvals, declinations and rate lock agreements for borrowers. This individual must be detail oriented, be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. High School diploma and 2 year’s minimum customer service, lending or retail experience as well as an exceptional understanding of mortgage loan processing functions including VA, FHA and conventional lending required. NMLS required.
