The position is for the following day(s) and hour(s)
Monday from 12:00 PM to 08:00 PM
Tuesday from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM
Thursday from 01:00 PM to 08:00 PM
Our primary care office is looking for a part-time Medical Assistant who is able to multitask and be a team player. Available to start right away.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care including rooming patients
- Prepare patients for office visit by taking vital signs, medical histories including reconciliation of medications
-Perform routine laboratory tests as directed by the physician.
- Respond to patient inquiries, follow up on test results and coordinate patient referrals.
-Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and office policies.
- Assist Physicians and APPs in giving patients the best care and experience overall
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year experience as MA required
- EKG experience required
- Proficient in taking vital signs required
- Phlebotomy experience preferred (will train)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills with ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
-Bilingual a plus
- ECW experience a plus
