Role Description
This part-time, on-site Accounting - Billing Specialist role is located in Bowie, MD. The Billing Specialist will be responsible for managing the end-to-end billing process, including preparing and sending invoices, ensuring timely and accurate client billing, and processing payments. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling billing data, and providing exceptional communication to resolve client inquiries regarding their accounts.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Billing Processes and expertise in generating and managing Invoicing
- Proficiency in Client Billing and Accounting practices
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel)
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in the construction or similar industries is a plus
