Job Description

Horace & Dickies of Waldorf is looking for dependable, hardworking cooks to join our growing team! We are hiring for two positions:

1. Breakfast Cook (Tuesday–Saturday, 7:00 AM–12:00 PM)

• Prepare breakfast items including eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles, grits, shrimp & grits, fish & grits, breakfast sandwiches, and other menu items.
• Ensure food is prepared quickly while maintaining high quality.
• Keep workstations clean and organized.
• Assist with prep work and inventory.

2. Part-Time Line Cook (Afternoons/Evenings)

• Prepare seafood, fried foods, sandwiches, and side dishes according to company recipes.
• Maintain speed and accuracy during busy periods.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist with cleaning and closing duties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen.
• Follow health department regulations.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
• Arrive on time and ready to work.
• Help with food prep and stocking as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant cooking experience preferred.
• Breakfast cooking experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.

Schedule

Breakfast Cook

• Tuesday–Saturday
• 7:00 AM–12:00 PM

Part-Time Cook

• Afternoon and evening shifts
• Tuesday–Sunday (hours vary)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
