Job Summary
Hopwood Logistics is looking for dependable drivers to transport individuals to and from their daily medical appointments in Madison and Dane County. This position is for a full time and part time weekend drivers.
This is an independent contractor position. You set your availability, and we work with you.
Duties
- Provide a service that is safe, dependable, and pleasant.
- Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to appointment schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and staff regarding appointment/member status as needed.
- Assist individuals getting into and out of the vehicle as needed.
- Confirm trips in advance by calling or texting members the day before their scheduled appointment
- Experience/Requirements
- Must be a self-starter who is able to manage their day in a timely and accurate manner.
- Be able to work remotely and perform your duties independently and with a high level of professionalism and success.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Possess a valid driver’s license (no probationary license accepted)
- Clean driving record.
- We are required to run a background and driving record check.
- Ability to pass a drug screen.
- Use your own vehicle: must be a 4-door vehicle that a member can safely get in and out of and can pass a safety inspection by our broker (no pickup trucks). Vehicle must be 2012 or newer.
- Keep your vehicle maintained. It must be clean inside and out and in optimal running condition.
- Experience in non-emergency medical transportation settings is a plus but not required. Training is provided.
- The ability to complete the onboarding in a timely manner.
- Consistent trips that are pre-scheduled.
- Get paid weekly.

Pay: $200.00 - $250.00 per day
