Job Summary
Hopkins Care, LLC is a growing home care agency seeking compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide non-medical in-home support to clients.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs):
- Bathing, grooming, dressing
- Toileting and mobility assistance
- Provide companionship and supervision
- Light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying up)
- Meal preparation
- Medication reminders (no administering)
- Report changes in client condition to supervisor
- Follow individualized care plans
Experience
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly desirable
- Proven ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, dementia (including Alzheimer’s disease), or memory care needs
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and emergency response procedures such as CPR and first aid
- Familiarity with using mobility aids like Hoyer lifts or resident’s equipment for safe transfers
- Experience providing hospice or long-term care services is a plus
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality at all times
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely while assisting residents with mobility or transfers
