Therapies Supervisor
The Therapy Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the therapy department and acts as an integral part of IDT. Therapy department operations include management of appropriate staffing, monitoring therapy initiatives, executing resource allocation such as DME and staff, driving innovation, mentoring staff, spearheading quality improvement opportunities, assuring compliance with state, CMS, and CDPHE regulations. This position is also responsible for acting as a PACE (Physical or Occupational) Therapist 50% of the time, which includes completing initial comprehensive assessments and scheduled reassessments, participating in care planning with the IDT, and overseeing the therapy treatments completed by assistants when available.
What is PACE?
PACE or Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly is a federal and state funded program that provides comprehensive, coordinated, and proactive whole-person care to help maintain and improve seniors' health so they can live safely in their homes. There are 180 PACE programs, serving more than 86,000 participants in 33 states and District of Columbia.
The number of people aged 55 is increasing in Grand Junction, CO and the demand for eldercare professionals is on the rise.
What You Bring:
- Currently registered as a Physical or Occupational therapist and licensed in the state of Colorado, maintained throughout employment.
- 3 years of respective experience required; 3-5 years of home health or other home-based experience preferred.
- 1 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a therapies position
- Valid Colorado driver’s license, unlimited access to reliable transportation, and adequate automobile insurance maintained throughout employment.
- Able to work in a variety of environments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effectively and respectfully communicate both verbally and in writing in a multitude of situations and settings.
- Effectively work with and build relationships with others.
- Personal commitment to working with diverse customers and colleagues.
- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Physically access any home/environment (i.e. navigate stairs, narrow spaces, etc.).
- Tolerance for heat/cold and other environmental factors that may exist in client’s homes.

- Competitive pay structure starting at $49.26-$54.50 per hour, depending on experience.
- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
