Hopes Promise Respite LLC is looking for compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (Mentors) to provide in-home and community respite support for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and for children with behavioral challenges. Part time positions are available in each county in New Jersey.
Job Summary:
As a Direct Support Professional (Mentor), you will provide personalized assistance and companionship. This includes:
- Assisting with daily living activities (personal care, medication administration, meal preparation).
- Facilitating community engagement (outings, social activities).
- Supporting skill development and independence goals.
- Providing emotional support and companionship.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
