What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekend Clinical Support Specialist - Must hold both a PRS and CDCA license position at Hope Valley Recovery?
Shift: This is a weekend position with the flexibility to work 3 x 13hr/days or 2 x 8hr/days plus 2 x 12hr/days.
Basic Function: This position is part of the clinical treatment team and is focused on delivering psychotherapy groups, Peer Recovery Support groups, individual sessions, clinical assessments and other clinical support duties on a daily basis.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Core duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.
· Facilitate Psychotherapy and Peer Recovery Support groups
· Conduct individual clinical sessions with clients.
· Conduct clinical assessments with clients.
· Demonstrate knowledge of addiction, withdrawal, and detoxification processes.
· Demonstrate knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
· Ability to establish a therapeutic alliance with patients.
· Ability to respond effectively to the urgent needs of patients.
· Ability to work cooperatively with other team members / disciplines as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team.
· Ability to conduct educational groups regarding substance abuse / dependence, recovery process and the 12 steps.
· Ability to conduct individual and group counseling.
· Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services in the electronic clinical chart.
· Assist individuals in developing their own plan for advancing their recovery
· Provide recovery education to clients from pre-recovery engagement, recovery initiation, recovery stabilization, and sustained recovery maintenance.
· Assists with crisis management and clinical intervention when necessary.
· Understanding of the Standards of Care established by Ohio Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services (OMHAS) and other governing bodies.
· Ability to represent Hope Valley Recovery within the community, with other agencies, and with other professionals.
· Maintains regular charting and notes in Hope Valley Recovery’s electronic medical records system on client individual and groups. Is responsible for the confidentiality of all records and information as required by law.
· Uphold patient rights, confidentiality, and HIPPA regulations.
· Minimum 50% client care productivity for job compliance, with a goal of 60% based on an 80/hr. pay period (60 billable hours). Non billable time will not be used to meet client care productivity.
· Perform other duties of the position and within the individual’s scope of practice as assigned by his / her supervisor.

Education and Training
· Minimum credential of CDCA and PRS Certification in the state of Ohio.
· Minimum of 1 year of experience in the field of Substance Use Disorder services.
