Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Domestic Violence Advocate at Hope Harbor Home Inc. The advocate will be responsible for providing crisis intervention, emotional support, case management, and advocating for clients within the criminal justice system. The role also involves community outreach and collaboration with other social service agencies.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Case Management skills
- Experience in Social Work and/or Human Services
- Knowledge of Community Outreach strategies
- Empathy, compassion, and ability to work with survivors of trauma
- Understanding of domestic violence issues and dynamics
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related experience equivalent
- Previous experience in advocacy or crisis intervention
