This role is responsible for shaping the quality, consistency, and impact of services delivered across a network of licensed residential homes, ensuring both regulatory excellence and meaningful, person-centered supports.
In this role, you will oversee the full scope of residential operations including; staffing, compliance, financial oversight, and service delivery. You will partner closely with internal departments such as HR, Risk, Finance, and Maintenance. This position plays a key role in shaping both day-to-day execution and long-term direction for residential services at Hope. The Director of Assisted Living Homes maintains loyalty to the organization, its beliefs, values, mission, vision, and expectations and to the recipients of services.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop Assisted Living Home Supervisors, building strong and accountable leadership across the network
- Set clear expectations and foster a culture of professionalism, consistency, and continuous growth
Operations & Service Quality
- Oversee daily operations of agency-operated Assisted Living Homes
- Monitor service quality through observation, documentation review, and data-informed decision-making
- Promote meaningful community integration and social opportunities for the people we support
Compliance & Regulatory Oversight
- Ensure full compliance with state licensing requirements, Medicaid standards, and agency policies
- Support ongoing staff training and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures
- Identify gaps and recommend improvements to policies and practices
Financial & Administrative Management
- Develop and manage network budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure responsible resource allocations
- Partner on financial matters related to home operations and recipient funds
Strategic Planning & Organizational Contribution
- Participate in agency-wide planning and development initiatives
- Identify trends, challenges, and opportunities within residential services
- Contribute to the evolution of programs, services, and operational strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field required. Concentration of study in Special Education, Developmental Disabilities, Behavioral Sciences or other directly related area preferred. Master's degree preferred. Experience in lieu of education may be accepted on a two for one basis in appropriate fields.
- Four years of experience working in a Social Service field required; two years of which must be in a supervision and service coordination capacity.
Salary : $36 - $43
