Duties
- Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools to uphold health standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning items to support kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting work surfaces regularly.
- Support food handling procedures by following safety guidelines and proper storage practices.
- Help with bussing tables and clearing plates during service to ensure a smooth flow of guests’ dining experience.
- Assist with catering setups and banquet events by organizing supplies and ensuring timely food prep.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food service, cleaning, and sanitation protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Experience with food handling, cleaning, or kitchen operations enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
- Knowledge of catering or banquet settings is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in fast-paced environments.
