Job Title: Apprentice

We are Rycor (www.rycorhvac.com), the largest and fastest growing installer of heat pumps in the Northeast. We are seeking apprentices and installers to assist us with installing green energy solutions specializing in installing Mitsubishi ductless mini split heat pumps.

Experience is nice, but not necessary.

We do train for this position on the job.

On-the-job Training would include but not be limited to:

• proper way to install mounting brackets
• proper way to install refrigerants of the line hide
• proper way to install electrical service disconnect
• proper way to secure heat pump to mounting systems
• proper installation of indoor air handler
• proper way to terminate electrical wires in the air handler
• proper way to terminate electrical wires in the condensing unit
• proper copper flaring technique
• how to perform a standing leak check with the nerve gas nitrogen
• proper way to evacuate systems before charging with refrigerant
• proper technique to weigh in refrigerator two systems
• proper way to work in Main electrical breaker panels
• proper way to start up and commission new heat pump systems

You should be proficient in:

• Mechanical Assembly Skills
• Driver's License
• Customer Service
