The PRN weekend reception will be back-up coverage for our weekend receptionists.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greeting Residents, Residents’ families and friends, salespersons, and other visitors and directing each according to their needs.
- Maintaining the reception area in a friendly, clean, organized, and professional manner.
- Answering all incoming telephone calls and making connections with proper persons. Taking messages or forwarding calls to voicemail for Department Heads and Supervisors.
- Assuring all clerical information worked on at the front desk is kept confidential and secure per Hooverwood and HIPAA policies and guidelines.
- Responsible for locking/unlocking the front door at designated time.
- Additional clerical support on a regular basis for the Business Office, Medical Records, Nursing Administration, Human Resources and any other clerical task as assigned by the Front Desk Coordinator
- Provide clerical support for the facility by using the front desk computer to create Resident Admission Forms, business and thank you letters, and other requested documents or spreadsheets.
Requirements
Qualifications
· Minimum high school degree
· Friendly/Customer Service oriented personality
· Stable prior work history
· Working knowledge of computers including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) skills
