Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line and Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in line cook duties, expo, and food preparation, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for cooking various menu items on live fire, prepping for busy periods, maintaining cleanliness in the work area, and adhering to food safety regulations. This position is essential in delivering fresh and high-quality products to our customers.
Duties
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and sanitation standards throughout all stages of food preparation.
- Live fire cook on the line for small menu of items.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to fulfill specific preparation requests for culinary needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including regular cleaning of equipment and tools.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Assist in preparing items for the line and for the reach-in refrigerators.
Experience
- 3-5 years of line cook experience at similar style restaurants required.
- Proven experience in food production.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. ServSafe Food Handler certification required either before or during onboarding.
- Familiarity with culinary techniques related to food preparation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent attention to detail in presentation and quality.
