What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Technician III position at Hoover Energy Services?
Hoover Energy Services has openings for Field Technician III to help expand our efforts in the fast paced, and growing oil and gas market in the Permian Basin of West Texas and New Mexico.
Ideal candidate would have experience in the following:
· Completed Tech I, Tech II
· Be able to wire pump panels w/understanding of options and reasoning why
· Be able to wire a panel w/ understanding of why it’s wired the way it is
· PLC Wiring Troubleshooting
· Full Understanding of setting up Transmitters
· Full Understanding of wiring AIs, AOs, DIs and DOs
· Basic HMI Setup
· Mastered Laser Alignment
· Understand Basic Drawings, P&ID’s, Schematics
· Login to PLCs , HMIs and other Devices USB, Ethernet,
· HART Rs485/RS232
· Basic Equipment Commissioning
· Mechanical Proficiency
· Attend E&H University
. Attend Idec Training – Basic
. Be able to communicate verbally and in writing to other team members, as well as customers.
. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
. Be able to pass a physical and drug screen including random drug screening.
. Candidate must have a clean driving record.
Experience:
3 years of experience as a Pump Technician/Pump Repair/Field Service
