Hoover Energy Services has openings for Automation Technician II to help expand our efforts in the fast paced, and growing oil and gas market in the Permian Basin of West Texas and New Mexico.
Ideal Automation Technician II would have experience in the following:
o Learning Pump Panel Wiring Options
o Learning PLC Panel Wiring Options (Starter VFD)
o Learning PLC Panel Wiring Troubleshooting
o Learning Pump Panel Wiring Troubleshooting (Starter VFD)
o Proficient use of process meter
o Learning Wiring AIs, AOs, DIs and Dos
o Learning Liquid Meter Setup Run Setup
o Understanding of setting up Transmitters (Temp Trans PITs)
o Operations Of LACT Equipment (Flange To Flange)
o Login to PLCs , HMIs and other Devices USB, Ethernet,
o HART Rs485/ RS232
o Reading Basic EFM PLC Logic
o Basic Electrical Troubleshooting
o IP Devices including HMI, PLC, Radio and EFM
o Radio Configuration
o Radio Troubleshooting
o Full Understanding of how to install comms the “Correct Way”
o Modem Configuration with help
o Control Valve Wiring and Setup of Veritas Kinds and Types
o Proficient Energy Isolation
o Proficient at Calibrations and Loop Checks
o Device Troubleshooting start to finish (Instrumentation)
o Ability to work in a team environment or alone with minimal supervision.
o Be able to communicate verbally and in writing to other team members, as well as customers.
o Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
o Be able to pass a physical and drug screen including random drug screening.
Experience:
2 Years of experience as an Automation Tech
