Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm and create a fun, friendly atmosphere
- Take beverage and food orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Serve drinks and food efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
- Upsell menu items including cocktails, spirits, wines, and food to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Process cash and credit card transactions smoothly, ensuring accuracy in sales transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bar, dining room, and kitchen stations
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting host/hostess duties to ensure seamless guest flow
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; culinary or fine dining experience is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling cash transactions
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
- Commitment to food safety standards, sanitation practices, and responsible alcohol service
