What You'll Do
- Provide hair and basic beauty services to residents based on their individual preferences and needs.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments with residents.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming salon environment.
- Follow appropriate sanitation and infection control practices.
- Provide professional and respectful service to residents at all times.
- Communicate effectively with residents and team members.
- Create a positive, enjoyable salon experience for residents.
- Maintain appropriate records and follow community policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Current cosmetology or beautician license/certification as required by the state.
- Previous experience providing salon services, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Patient, compassionate, and respectful approach to working with older adults.
- Dependable and professional.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of service.
