Hooker Creek Companies LLC is recruiting for a Dispatcher & Customer Service Specialist to work from our Bend Ready Mix Plant. This role acts as a point of contact for customers ordering ready-mix concrete, ensuring deliveries are timely and efficient while fostering strong relationships, recommending value-added products, and contributing to sales growth. Handles order entry, scheduling, customer questions, and routine office tasks in a dynamic, early-start environment aligned with plant operations and job-site pours. Regularly visits job sites to confirm that deliveries meet quality and timing expectations, collaborates with manager to address customer concerns, builds trust with customers, and uncovers additional sales or service opportunities.
Experience and Skills Desired:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2–3 years of experience in customer service, order processing, dispatching, scheduling, or a fast-paced administrative/operations role required.
- Construction, ready-mix concrete, or related industry experience helpful but not required. We provide comprehensive training for the right candidate.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to obtain relevant certifications within the specified timeframe if needed.
- Valid Oregon driver's license with a driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
