We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented full-time and part-time Hood Cleaning Technicians to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and functionality of commercial kitchen exhaust systems, ensuring they operate efficiently. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance of kitchen hood systems.
- Utilize learned knowledge and situational awareness to understand exhaust system layouts and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems with customer and company equipment
- Collaborate with team members to build and maintain a clean work environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and inquiries professionally in accordance with company policy.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and report any additional needs for repairs or maintenance.
Requirements
- Must have personal transportation to and from our North Port office.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs, this is a very physically demanding job.
- Must be able to adhere to the schedule agreed on and adapt when necessary.
- Must be able to climb a ladder and work at heights, on various roofs.
Would be nice
- Experience as a service technician or in a similar role, within the cleaning or maintenance industry even better.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and situational awareness
- Familiarity with cleaning and repair techniques and commercial kitchen exhaust systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently.
- Leadership abilities to guide less experienced team members when necessary.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective customer and coworker interaction.
- Willingness to learn new techniques, adhere to company protocol and procedures, and adapt to changing technologies within the field.
