Sr. Project Manager (Medical Devices)- Hybrid role
Location: North Andover, MA 01845
Duration: 9 months of contract with possibility of extension
Shift: 8-hour (8 AM TO 5 PM) shift, with 1-hour flexibility
Description
• We are seeking an experienced Sr. Project Manager with strong Medical Device industry experience to support a newly launched infusion systems and hospital infusion pump project.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing complex design control and design change projects within regulated medical device environments.
• This role will lead large cross-functional teams and drive project execution for next-generation infusion system technology used in hospital patient care environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead medium to highly complex medical device projects from initiation through completion.
• Manage large cross-functional teams consisting of 40-50 members across Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, and R&D functions.
• Create and manage detailed project schedules, timelines, and deliverables.
• Drive project execution for infusion systems and hospital infusion pump development initiatives.
• Support design control and design change activities while ensuring regulatory and quality compliance.
• Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
• Coordinate activities across multiple departments and business units.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of Project Management experience required; higher experience strongly preferred.
• Strong Medical Device industry experience is required.
• Experience managing Design Control and/or Design Change projects is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong experience creating and managing project schedules.
• Hands-on project leadership experience is highly important.
Preferred Qualifications
• PMP Certification is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Experience with infusion systems and hospital infusion pumps is highly preferred.
• Understanding of devices used in hospital patient admission and treatment environments is a plus.
• Experience working within regulated healthcare or medical device environments preferred.
Salary : $75 - $83
