Description:
- Demand Planning Lead /senior demand planner / Life Sciences & Diagnostics Strategic supply chain leader responsible for driving end-to-end demand planning and S&OP execution for the North America Diagnostics business.
- Leads cross-functional alignment across Commercial, Finance, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Supply Planning to deliver forecast accuracy, inventory optimization, service excellence, and profitable growth.
- Oversees demand consensus, statistical forecasting, scenario planning, and demand sensing processes across a complex portfolio of regulated diagnostic products, instruments, and consumables.
- Key responsibilities include leading monthly S&OP DEMAND SIGN OFF cadences, managing demand risks and opportunities, improving forecast accuracy and bias, supporting product launches and seasonal planning, and enabling executive decision-making through analytics and business insights.
- Partners closely with regional and global teams to balance customer service, working capital, and capacity constraints while ensuring alignment to financial targets and operational strategy.
- The role requires strong leadership in planning transformation, data analytics, ERP/planning systems, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced life sciences or medical diagnostics environment.
- Ideal candidates bring expertise in demand planning, supply chain strategy, and cross-functional stakeholder management across high-growth and highly regulated healthcare businesses.
- Individual will be supporting both the North America and Europe regions and may need to adjust working hours as needed to support timezones. Strong communication skills needed as will work with regional commerical leaders.
- It will be just normal first shift working hours, 40 hours per week. This person will work both with the team in Europe and the US so there may be some days they have to be online a little earlier in the day but not every day.
