Job Description:
The CT Technologist is responsible for operating Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and minimizing radiation exposure. The ideal candidate will review physician orders, obtain relevant clinical information, accurately position patients, and adjust technical imaging factors based on patient body habitus.
Additional responsibilities include assisting physicians during procedures, preparing examination rooms, managing supplies, monitoring for contrast reactions, responding to emergency situations, scheduling and completing exams, and entering accurate charge codes. Strong experience in trauma and stroke imaging is essential for this role.
Requirements:
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles away from the facility.
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience required, including trauma and stroke experience.
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent required.
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- ARRT certification required.
- Active State/District license required.
Pay: $2,300.00 - $2,556.00 per week
