About Honor The Gift

Honor The Gift is a Los Angeles based lifestyle brand founded by Russell Westbrook, rooted in the stories, traditions, and creative spirit of the Inner City. Through apparel, graphics, product storytelling, and culturally driven narratives, the brand reflects pride in where we come from and the people, places, and experiences that shape us.

Position Overview

Honor The Gift is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer with a strong apparel graphics background and the ability to support brand collateral across seasonal, marketing, retail, ecommerce, and partnership needs.

This role is ideal for a designer who understands how graphics live on product, not just as artwork, but as part of a larger seasonal story. The Senior Graphic Designer will create original apparel graphics, typography systems, layouts, prints, branding treatments, and supporting collateral while working closely with the Creative Director, Design Director, Product, Marketing, and Production teams.

The right candidate should be conceptually strong, culturally aware, detail oriented, and able to move between elevated apparel graphics, vintage references, storytelling, layout systems, and production ready execution. This person must be comfortable owning the full graphic process from concept through tech packs, vendor communication, sample review, and final production approval.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design seasonal apparel graphics across tees, fleece, cut and sew, headwear, accessories, trims, labels, patches, embroidery, applique, screen print, and all over print applications.
  • Translate seasonal narratives into graphic concepts that feel authentic to Honor The Gift’s brand world, visual codes, and storytelling.
  • Build complete graphic tech packs for each season, including artwork, colorways, placements, scale callouts, technique callouts, Pantone references, print specs, embroidery specs, trim details, production notes, and final files.
  • Review samples, strike offs, lab dips, print trials, embroidery tests, and submits, giving clear feedback on color, scale, placement, technique, hand feel, and overall execution.
  • Develop collateral for lookbooks, linesheets, sales decks, retail moments, packaging, hangtags, campaign assets, social assets, ecommerce graphics, event materials, and collaboration presentations.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5 to 8 plus years of graphic design experience, ideally within apparel, streetwear, sportswear, lifestyle, fashion, or culturally driven brands.
  • Strong understanding of apparel graphics, including placement, proportion, fabrication, print techniques, embroidery, applique, trims, and production limitations.
  • Strong experience building apparel graphic tech packs and production ready artwork files, including placements, print specs, embroidery specs, separations, Pantone callouts, scale, technique, and factory ready notes.
  • Ability to work across both product graphics and brand collateral.
  • Ability to take direction from leadership while also bringing strong ideas to the table.
  • Comfortable working full time in office, 5 days a week.

Additional Experience That Is Helpful

  • Experience designing for collaborations, licensed IP, or retail exclusive programs.
  • Experience with deck building, lookbook layout, linesheet design, sales presentation design, or brand collateral systems.
  • Illustration, photo editing, or art direction experience.
