Job Summary Monday - Friday from 9am-4pm
Must have over a year of experience in a Lead Server postion , over 2 years of serving.
As a Lead Server, you will be the cornerstone of exceptional guest experiences, guiding our service team with enthusiasm, expertise, and professionalism. Your energetic leadership will ensure that every guest receives attentive, personalized service in a lively and upscale environment. You will oversee daily operations, support team members, and uphold the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and hospitality. Duties
- Lead and motivate a team of servers to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, fine dining setting.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless food preparation and timely delivery of orders.
- Assist with training new team members on POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, as well as food handling and sanitation protocols.
- Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring every guest feels valued and satisfied.
- Oversee the proper handling of cash transactions, cashiering duties, and accurate math calculations for bills and tips.
- Support the implementation of upselling strategies to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and kitchen procedures.
- Ensure all team members adhere to food industry regulations, including alcohol service, food safety, and sanitation practices.
- Assist in managing reservations through platforms like OpenTable and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize restaurant flow.
- Support night club or bar operations if applicable, including bussing tables and assisting with guest entertainment needs.
Skills
- Extensive experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Proven culinary experience or strong knowledge of food preparation techniques.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
- Strong sales acumen with a focus on upselling beverages, desserts, or special menu items.
- Previous fine dining or upscale restaurant experience demonstrating high standards of service.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to manage cash handling accurately and perform basic math calculations swiftly.
- Experience working in nightclubs or high-energy environments is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to lead team members effectively and coordinate with kitchen staff.
- Familiarity with open table reservation systems and guest management tools like OpenTable or similar platforms.
