Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness throughout the restaurant or catering area, including tables, kitchen surfaces, and food storage areas
• Assist with bussing tables efficiently to ensure a clean and inviting dining environment
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting and safe lifting practices when setting up tables, moving supplies, or clearing equipment
• Support food service operations by serving guests promptly and courteously, following proper food safety procedures
• Assist with food handling, preparation support, and maintaining proper hygiene standards in line with health regulations
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks, share updates on cleanliness or service needs, and ensure smooth workflow
• Support internal communication efforts by relaying important information between kitchen staff and front-of-house team to enhance service quality

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is highly desirable
• Knowledge of sanitation practices, food safety standards, and proper table setting techniques
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and movement of supplies or equipment
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and provide excellent customer service
• Experience in catering or hotel environments is a plus but not mandatory
• Familiarity with the food industry’s safety protocols and hygiene regulations
• Enthusiastic attitude with a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences
